I have been going to this dentist for 10 years. All visits have been pleasant experiences. It is efficiently run with minimal waiting. I have received effective treatment and pain management. They were responsive when I needed urgent attention. Procedures are explained, options considered and priced are reasonable.
I've been coming here for years, I have only good things to say. Whenever I've chipped or broken a tooth I got an appointment quickly and easily. The advice from Dr Korkorev is always clear, simple and what you need to hear. If they can save you money they will and I fully recommend them as a great dentist....for life !
Have now had a few appointments with the team at Dental Care St Kilda and can’t fault the experience. Professionalism in all aspects from reception through to the procedures/check ups, the employees are very friendly and know what they’re doing, and happy to assist with any questions or queries, happy to carry on using them as my dentist.
I highly recommend Dental Care St. Kilda. I have always had my dental care with Dr. Alex, who is very friendly and highly informative. This time, it was scheduled for my routine cleaning and check-up with Dr. Alex, but I was attended to by Dr. Kat Kokoreva. To my pleasant surprise, she was also incredibly informative and friendly. Dr. Kat provided all the information one could expect from a dentist, sharing basic dental knowledge based on her personal experience. And even showed me how to do tooth flossing which is a very incredible knowledge.Honestly, what makes me feel so comfortable visiting Dental Care St. Kilda is that the doctors and staff don't try to upsell their services. They recommend treatments based on our actual needs, which is something I didn't experience with my previous dentist. I am genuinely happy and feel very at ease using the services at Dental Care St. Kilda. Despite the long distance from my home to the clinic, every visit is absolutely worth it.
Absolutely the nicest and most caring team. I had put off getting work done for way too long and was incredibly anxious. They were SO caring and importantly did not make me feel embarrassed at all for leaving it so long. I was really pleased.
Dr Alex is amazing. For me visiting a dentist was a nightmare but here it is totally opposite. Got few issues with my teeth and he fixed them without any pain. Exceptional level of hygiene and not at all greedy. Highly recommended!!
The rudeness of the dentist and staff is shocking. Today I took my 10 year old who is scared of dentists and was crying on the dentist chair. The dentist said I don’t need your dramas here your not at home! Followed by telling me never to bring her back there again as he is to busy for this.I’m shocked how unkid friendly, rude, a Person can be esp to a child because they were scared. Will never go back there again. This is not the first time the staff were rude but today was just horrific.Furthermore I received a pc today from reception threatening me to ruin any business I have so that I put down this review. Followed by a response to this review calling a child who doesn’t like a dentist and is scared and was crying special needs”This is just disgraceful .
No pleased at all with service spent less then 12 min for a teeth clean including doing x-rays would have hoped for a decent clean with how much it cost will definitely not be going back as was rushed and no care for the patient as I was obviously in pain throughout the clean

Have been going to this dentist for years and can’t recommend them enough. Recently had to have a wisdom tooth extraction it was the most straight forward procedure and Dr Alex reassured me that it was not gonna hurt and it did not. The whole think took less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend!

Had tooth extraction and currently getting tooth implant here. Personal family run dentistry at great price. Highly recommend as Dr Kokorev and his assistant were very professional, almost painless and efficient through out the 90 minute+ surgery.

Dr Alex Kokorev is by far, the best dentist I've ever had. And I've had a few. Being very result focussed, direct and to the point, he can seem somewhat blunt at first meet. But once you get to know the guy, he's a very kind man, with a great sense of humor. However, regardless of who he is as a person, he is an absolute miracle worker when it comes to the chair.Having been in and out of dental surgery and various orthodontists through-out my teen and early adult years, as well as moving areas (and usually dentists) several times in the last ten years, I can confidently say; there is no one I would rather have working on my teeth. I only wish I'd found him sooner!In my mid twenties, I got taken for a ride (financially) by another clinic, also in St Kilda... And since, I've had some trust issues when it's come to dental costs and procudures. But with Dr Kokorev, I can honestly say that I have never once felt that I'm paying for unnecessary extras. I always feel like he has my best interest at heart.I've moved several times out of the area, further and further away each time. And even though I'm travelling for an hour plus each visit, it's still 100% worth it for the expertise and care I know I will receive.

I highly recommend Dental Care St Kilda. I had to have a root canal and Dr Kokorev and his team were thorough, quick and minimized the pain involved. A couple of visits later to prepare and clear the infection, I'm very happy with the result and the care I received.

I've seen both Dr Kokorev's and they're both excellent dentists. The receptionist is very friendly and organised. Best part is they are platinum level for multiple health care funds so most things are covered by insurance.
Don't go any further in your search! Proficient, thorough, gentle but efficient dentist and daughter practice. Professional, on time appointments and highest rebate if applicable. Recommend.
Great experience here with both the dentist and Alla who is at the front desk who was very helpful with upskiiling me on what was covered by my health insurance. Definitely recommend
